DONATIONS

IMMHG has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your donation to us is tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. Amounts donated in excess of our operating expenses are donated to qualified veterans’ charities.

We are able to accept your donation through PayPal Home which is the gold standard for secure online financial activity so you can be confident when making your donation to us.

When you make a donation via PayPal please note the Veteran’s name that you are honoring so we can properly record your generous gift.  Should you desire to donate to our general operating costs, please annotate as such.

Thank you for believing in what we do and for considering us worthy of your donation! Since we are an organization that is staffed by volunteers, you might wonder why we need donations.  Well it seems that everything costs something, here is a list of just some of our operating costs:

  • Bank fees for our checking account.
  • Each member of the team that participates in a service receives a stipend to cover the operating costs of their transportation, uniform dry cleaning, etc.
  • Uniforms that the team members wear and are provided by the team.
  • The Honor Coins that are presented to the family at the end of our service.
  • The cartridge boxes and velvet cartridge bags that we present to the next of kin.
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning supplies.
  • Website’s monthly operating cost which allows our Funeral Directors and partners with a first-class communication vehicle with IMMHG and the team and allow us to interact with you and your family.
  • We also need to increase awareness of our services and attract new team members.
  • Accounting and legal fees associated with doing business as a non-profit.
  • Office supplies and postal fees that are necessary to transact business.
