FUNERAL DIRECTORS INFORMATION
This area is reserved for Funeral Home Directors ONLY and is used to request the services of the IMMHG.
IMMHG is a Not for Profit 501(c)(3) Organization that provides Military style funeral services at Funeral Homes, Cemeteries, and assorted venues in Marion and surrounding local counties.
We seek to provide services at NO COST to families. However, voluntary contributions, donations, and honorariums requested from family members during the initial or subsequent meetings with the family are gratefully accepted to cover team logistics such as uniforms, transportation costs, and other associated costs. Please offer the family the option. Numerous local funeral homes are pleased with the services IMMHG provides and choose to donate also. These contributions can be presented to the team leader (Mission Commander) at the service, or mailed to IMMHG, 9702 E. Washington St. Suite 400-147, Indianapolis, IN 46209. As you are aware, the Active Military is required by the Department of Defense to provide a contingent to honor the deceased service member with a flag fold and Taps (DoD Instruction 1300.15 Military Funeral Support), but due to logistical requirements they cannot always supply the need. IMMHG can provide that requirement and give the family needed honors along with a rifle salute “21 Gun Salute” (see FAQ for more information). Please reach out to the Veteran’s branch to see if they can support the mission. You are always welcome to request IMMHG to attend, even if Department of Defense personnel are attending.
