Indy Metropolitan Military Honor Guard

HONORING THOSE WHO SERVED!

AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT IMMHG IS AND DOES

IMMHG strives to create an environment whereby our Veterans receive the honors that are due them for the sacrifices they made to protect and serve the United States.  In doing so we use the assets and skills of funeral homes and the active duty military in various functions to render honors as explained in our Frequently Asked Questions tab and below.

We render Military Funeral Honors for eligible veterans and as scheduling permits provide Color Guard services to groups in the greater Indianapolis area. We are an Authorized Provider of Military Funeral Honors by the U. S. Department of Defense.  We are comprised of Honorably discharged and retired veterans and current members of various branches of the United States armed forces. We serve the Indianapolis Metropolitan area with limited reach into surrounding areas.

Leadership: With the Indy Metropolitan Military Honor Guard you will receive honorable and respectful services. You can rest assured that, working with the Indy Metropolitan Military Honor Guard, you will receive the best military honors service that we can perform.  The majority of our team members have earned the Indiana Funeral Honors Ribbon Funeral Honor Guard Ribbon which is issued by the Indiana National Guard after the completion of 50 missions.

Comrade respect: At Indy Metropolitan Military Honor Guard, our highest priority is to provide proper military bearing and procedures.  You are important to us and you can expect us to go the extra mile for your loved one’s service. We have frequent training sessions to make sure we are component in military drill and ceremonies. Our experience and commitment to excellence have earned us the reputation as the premier military Honor Guard in the area.

Additional Services: On, an as-available basis, we perform the functions of a Color Guard where we will present and post the colors for your organization. We are also available to retire the colors and present a narrated ceremonial “13 folds” of the US Flag. Many groups find this very interesting and patriotic way to open and conclude their meeting.  Please select Color Guard Information on the menu for further instructions.
